WELCOME TO BREWSTER!
Meet Head of School Dr. Craig Gemmell
Students know Craig as an approachable and compassionate Head of School (or “HOS”). On a typical day you can see him out and about on campus, meeting with students to talk about college, to exchange ideas about student life, and most often, just to listen.
You can take advantage of the opportunity to get to know Craig by reaching out. The best way to connect is through email at firstname.lastname@example.org. He looks forward to hearing from you!
Follow Craig’s new Twitter account @DiverseThinkers.
Come on in and meet the admission team!
We know that this has been a challenging year to apply to schools. Visiting campuses and working in person has been restricted for many of you.
We missed seeing students and families in person too!
Take this fun video tour of our Admission headquarters (with the best view in New England). Until we get to welcome you and say it in person: Congratulations!

Living in Wolfeboro
Wolfeboro is renowned as the “Oldest Summer Resort in America,” and Brewster students get to enjoy its charming downtown and lakeside location year round. As you’ll see in the video, campus is just steps away from grocery and drug stores, ice cream stands, bakeries, gift shops, coffee bars, and great restaurants where students can stroll and have fun with friends—there is always something to do!
For outdoor enthusiasts, Wolfeboro has bike paths at Sewall Woods and the Cotton Valley Rail-Trail just a short walk away. For those who seek elevation, Cathedral Ledge and Mount Major are short drives, and climbers and hikers of all levels can enjoy them on weekend outings or through our Outdoor Skills program. You don’t even have to leave campus to enjoy pristine Lake Winnipesaukee, the state’s largest lake: Brewster’s campus has a half mile waterfront with two beaches and a beautiful boathouse. Being in central New Hampshire gives our community easy access to the White Mountains, ski resorts, the seacoast town Portsmouth (just an hour away), and a lot more.
We have many events and virtual activities that we hope will help you make your decision to choose Brewster! Step one – sign up for some or all of the events below. We encourage you to sign up for the Student Meet-up as soon as possible. We will introduce you to your student tour guide who will personally help guide you through our Virtual Revisit Experience. These activities are open for all accepted students and families. For students who were accepted during early action, please know that the format for these events will be similar to previous virtual events you may have attended.
