Out on the field, the court, the rink, and the lake, Brewster’s student athletes are excelling in their sports on more than 25 interscholastic teams! Our Boys’ Prep Basketball Team is nationally known, graduating some of the top college and NBA players in the sport. But here’s the best part: There’s something for every kind of athlete here. Maybe you love the competition on the lacrosse field with other elite players, or maybe you want to learn how to sail, or hit a spin class with your friends—that is all here for you! Brewster’s facilities include a state-of-the-art fitness center, climbing barn, boathouse, and indoor track with gorgeous lake views.

Long-time coach Matt Butcher has had impressive success on the soccer field. He brings together some recent and not-so-recent alumni who share thoughts and reflections about their Brewster path—from why they first chose Brewster to what they miss about it. Described as one of the most dominant high school basketball programs in the country, the Prep Basketball team at Brewster Academy has won seven National Championships in the last ten years, had 17 alumni play in the NBA and 150 graduates attend Division 1 college programs.
